Don’t Lose Your Mind Lose Your Weight by Rujuta Diwekar Review

rujuta diwekar

Weight is such a prodigious issue in today’s world. Easy to gain for many and not so easy to lose for many. I have read many weight loss books. In fact, the market is flooded with such books, but none were as impressive as Don’t Lose Your Mind Lose Your Weight by Rujuta Diwekar.

Various Agendas of Weight Loss Books

Weight loss books, mostly written by nutritionist and life coaches and by celebrities sometimes, appears more as a marketing gimmick as a tool to self promote oneself and highlight the achievements than as an effort to genuinely help the readers

Through this weight loss book Rujuta Diwekar has presented herself as a progressive and practical nutritionist who could help you to achieve your health goal in the most reasonable and healthy manner, when approached directly.

Best About This Book

But I must also admit that she has repleted the book with the meaningful information, her mantra of eating every two hours, a rough plan how to achieve it and answering many hows and whys. Powered with all the vital tools one can sit and plan their own diet. However, it is a brainstorming thing to do.

I particularly loved her spiritual style of eating food. I have started eating in the prescribed manner. Sitting cross legged with the presence of all my five senses, I actually enjoy the food I eat. In fact, after spending half of my life in the kitchen, now I have realized that even I cook decently yummy food. Earlier I used to gobble my food thinking which chore to finish next. Not anymore.

According to Rujuta Diwekar, you can eat everything and you will not gain weight if eaten at the right time and just the required amount. To this I would like to add from my recent personal experience that if you eat in the calm state of mind with full focus just on food, enjoying each bite, as Rujuta Diwekar has written in the book, then whatever amount you eat you will be satisfied with that. The situation like pet bhar gaya maan nahi bhara will never arise.

Don’t Lose Your Mind Lose Your Weight is not only about how to lose weight, but it is also about how to live a healthy life following a healthy lifestyle. Many myths were busted, many misinformation were cleared. I think this book is worth a read and worth imbibing in your life.

Rujuta Diwekar roadmap to weight loss is definitely tempting for anyone to give it a try wholeheartedly. You can eat all your favorite food just by changing their timing a little and cutting the size of the portion, just a little, and soon you might start losing your weight and not your mind.

I will update my own progress soon.

The entire book is written in a systematic manner so that it is easy to absorb all the information. She has reiterated a few important things throughout the book. Otherwise, there is a new piece information on every page to enlighten you.

The Verdict

I will highly recommend you to read this book once before plunging yourself in any weight loss program.
